1. What's your practice focus and what kind of clients knock on your door ?

Elevate Therapy & Wellness is a holistic therapy and coaching practice. We focus on life transitions, anxiety, depression, eating disorders and people who experience chronic conditions like chronic pain, fibromyalgia, migraines, gut issues, long covid, etc.

We focus on using the mind, body, and spirit using nervous system regulation and brain training techniques.
Our clients usually are high-achievers, people pleasers, and highly sensitive humans.

2. Tell us about yourself.

I've been in the wellness industry, specifically psychotherapy, since I was 15 years old when I had the privilege of getting help through therapy, which saved my life. Since then, I have been committed to learning and growing in this field.

I have healed mentally and physically on deep levels and really want to share this work with others. I want people to know they don't have to suffer from their pain and to understand that healing the mind is also healing the body and vice versa.

3. Tell us the story of a patient who you are most proud of helping.

I've had the privilege of seeing a client who's gone through a huge transformation in working together. She first came to me depressed, lost, experiencing deep shame and pain in her body and looking for relief. Through working together, she no longer identifies with depression or the pain in her body as she has learned how to build a compassionate, stronger relationship with her body in order to heal those symptoms. Her body doesn't need to take on those symptoms anymore in order to cope.

4. What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a practitioner in private practice?

Recognizing I can't help everyone and making sure I buid energetic and clear boundaries for myself in my work. I am an empathetic and sensitive person so I can take on others energies without realizing it which can then take a toll on my body. Sticking to my practices and what I know works for me is vital in this work so that I can show up as my highest self in order to help others. I believe we can not take people farther in evolving than we have gone which is why I am committed to this work.

5. What are the top 3 tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a private practice today?\

The top three tips I would give anyone looking to start, run, and grow their private practice is to:

  1. Find a support system- group or coach that you can lean on and who can guide you. It's so helpful to get other's support that are farther along than you.
  2. You have to make your business work for you. Try not to look at everyone else around you in what they're doing. You practice can be whatever you want it to be, so make it work for you.
  3. Find a niche! choose something that you're passionate about so that it comes through in your marketing.

6. Where can people find you?
